How to make Corey’s green alkaline smoothie to alkalize and energize your body, and make it easier to achieve optimum health and vitality.

In this video coaching newsletter, I show you how to use a Vitamix Blender to make my favorite healthy green alkaline smoothie. It’s a combination of some of the most powerful green alkaline super-foods such as spinach, celery, cucumber, broccoli and green peppers. I also use strawberries, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, dates, apple, cherry tomatoes and alkaline water to make it delicious.

I show the most efficient way possible to blend all ingredients together and the order in which I do it. I also discuss the difference just one smoothie per day can make in your skin, vitality, health and overall sense of well-being. This recipe makes four days worth of smoothies.

In every area of my life, I want things to be easy and as little work as possible, so when it comes to eating healthy, like I talk about the video I did a few years ago, “How To Make Corey’s Green Juice,” you don’t want to spend all of your time juicing vegetables, preparing meals or eating salads every day. If you’re into juicing vegetables, this smoothie recipe gives you things like spinach and broccoli that you don’t get in the juice recipe I shared.

This recipe will be in my upcoming book, because there’s going to be a pretty large section dedicated to health. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know I used to have a lot of health problems when I was a kid. I suffered from allergies, hay fever and skin rashes, and this smoothie recipe is one of the things that has helped me. Drink at least one of these smoothies a day for thirty days, and you’ll be amazed how you feel. It will open your nasal passages up within 20–30 minutes of drinking it. Obviously, you should check with your doctor before implementing anything new with your health, diet or exercise.

The beauty of eating the right healthy foods is how it makes you feel, and you can’t argue with that. I’m always about, what is peak performance? What’s the best you can get in every area of your life?

I first learned about an alkaline based diet fifteen years ago, and the beauty of eating these kinds of foods is you feel it in your nose, you feel it in your skin, and you see it in your eyes. Two books I highly recommend in addition to Dr. Robert O. Young’s books, “The pH Miracle” and “Sick And Tired?: Reclaim Your Inner Terrain” are, “Dr. Gundry’s Diet Evolution” and “The Plant Paradox,” both by Dr. Steven R. Gundry, who is a very famous cardiologist. He is a medical doctor, unlike Dr. Young, who was a microbiologist.

Dr. Gundry worked with people who came into his office, literally weeks away from dropping dead, who were fit and in really great shape, but they weren’t healthy because of their diet. Through changing their diet, they were able to maintain their physique, but clear out all of their arteries of cholesterol and stuff, and get to the point where they were really healthy.

Dr. Young’s books are great, but again, he’s a microbiologist, more of a lab geek. What’s nice about the alkaline diet is, it has pretty much gone mainstream. You’ve got people like Tom Brady and his wife Gisele, who have a personal chef, and 80% of what they eat is greens, alkaline and organic. The philosophy behind this is, 80% of your plate should be the greens.

Try this recipe for just thirty days, and you will feel the difference. You will feel it in your skin, and you will feel it in your nasal passages. Your body needs these greens. It needs the vitamins, and it needs the nutrients and minerals to buffer the acid.
